ZUGERLAND
'Zugerland' is a coldly tactile photographic landscape series.
Captured at night under distinct stages of the moons cycle a forest is subjected to unique scrutiny, rendering a relationship between natural & human environments.
'Zugerland' runs along a mountainous stretch of road in the Canton of Zug, in the heart of Central Switzerland. Choosing locations associated with a religous past as a pilgrim route & combining them with capitalist signifiers, the photographer has created a narrative around the 'ersatz' of the forest region situated above the city of Zug.
The 'Zugerland' series takes the form of six large scale c-type prints mounted on 2mm aluminium 44"x34" with an aluminium subframe for hanging. Each image is created as an edition of ten & are available as individual prints or as a set of six. |
